DON ORRELL STIRRUPS
Don Orrell Stirrups was born when master craftsman, Don Orrell, combined his passion for horses with his love for woodworking. He caught a vision for a different take on the wooden stirrups that were currently available in the market. He started by making them for friends and family. They quickly caught on and over the years have become a new standard in the industry for custom wooden stirrups.
All stirrups are handmade to order by Don Orrell. Stirrups, not currently in stock will take approximately 4-5 weeks to ship. Browse the options below, or visit our shop for items in stock.

Angled Offset Stirrup
Introducing Don Orrell's "Angled Offset" stirrup - quite possibly the most comfortable stirrup yet!
The Angle allows for your feet to sit parallel with the ground for extra comfort while providing less stress on ankles and joints.
The Offset feature puts the neck towards the front of the stirrup with extra weight in the back causing heels to drop with toes slightly raised creating a comfortable and balanced position. This is a great benefit for disciplines that require hard stops and slides.
People all over the world have been claiming to have reduced or even zero knee, hip or ankle pain after switching.

Angled Offset Review:
“I have recently purchased my second set of the Don Orrell Angled Offset stirrups. I won’t ride in anything else again. They feel great under my feet and set my heels where I want them. I am not getting any pain in my ankles or knees after riding multiple horses for the day and they are finished beautifully! “ Hayley Scott
Tapered Stirrup

Offset Stirrup
Offset stirrups offer the rider an advantage in events that require hard stops and slides, such as reining and cutting. The Offset style adjusts the position of your foot to aid in keeping your toes up and heels down while riding. They are also a favourite for those who typically have knee or hip pain with other types of stirrups.

Angled Flat Bottom
Designed from the popular style of the Flat Bottom stirrups - but with a twist (well, technically an angle).
Adding this angled option allows your feet to rest parallel with the ground while riding, relieving stress and joint pressure. This is a smaller version of the Angled Roper that has been attributed to helping riders that experience numbness in their feet, as well as ankle, knee, and hip pain.

BUCKAROO STIRRUP
