Our reining saddles are designed to be:
Comfortable for both horse and rider
Support the rider during manoeuvres particularly the spins and the stops
Be a good fit on the horses back.
After many years of trialling different trees for reining saddles I believe we have developed a saddle that fits the majority of horses from 2 year olds to older horses. Our current reining tree is available in a custom option of wood/fibreglass allowing for various seat sizes and bar widths. The standard 16” tree is proving to be an excellent performer for both horse and rider.
The Standard Reiner is made with:
Custom wood fibreglass tree 15” through to 17”
Top quality Herrmanne Oak or Wickett & Craig leather with four colour choices – natural, chestnut, russet or brown
Soft suede seat
Rough out seat jockey (good for grip)
Quality USA veg tanned sheepskin
SS riggings and fittings
Rear cinch D and jockey
Basketweave swell and jockeys and/or border stamp skirt
Conchos
Professional’s Choice girth
Don Orrell 6 ply Rancher stirrups (your choice of tread width)
Nylon latigos
This saddle is fully mounted and currently priced at $6930 inc gst.
Options are available to upgrade with silver and embossing work and high quality gloss finished Don Orrell stirrups.
